Since leaving Paramount Vantage last October and pursuing my all time dream I have been on an interesting journey that has taken me to places I never though I would get to.

As many of you know I started my career at the Melrose Fairfax flea market in January and that allowed me to interact and get feedback on my work from everyday Angelenos. The start from January to March was a real struggle but it floored me and gave me insight to what people want and how to interact with them.

In April I started taking a class at the Julia Dean Photographic Workshops that focused on how to get exposure in the fine art and documentary world. As the class began to give me a lot of insight into how to enter the gallery world, I had a bit of luck and was introduced to a famous interior designer who offered me a small platform to have a launch party at his home. Soon I thought I had reached the peak when I was offered not only a second show at a showroom of a high-end European company but was also given the honor of hanging my work in the interior designer’s showroom.

However soon after the success of the show, I found myself creating new work and being more ambitious than ever. I had my third opening this Fall at artLAB in Santa Monica and then took place in the Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens show which I received a ribbon for my photography. Then the ultimate dream happened this past week when I received a call from David Streets, one of the largest players in the gallery world, offering me three walls in his gallery in Beverly Hills! At first I went into shock and didn’t feel as though I deserved this but once all 20 pieces were hung on the wall I really stepped back and felt for the very first time like a real artist and that I truly deserved to be there.

My ultimate goal was to have my work hang in a true gallery and it has finally happened! I still am wrapping my head around it but do check out David’s client list below – it’s quite impressive, as is he. I will be a part of two openings he has coming up, one for photographs of actress, Julie Newmar and one for celebrity photographer, Pat York which is INCREDIBLE! I am so excited it hurts! Check out the pictures of my work hanging below and I cannot wait to tell you more about the excitement of these photographs on display in DAVID STREETS GALLERY!!

I am so proud to announce this and lots of love to all of you who have supported me along the way :) xox
