I am heading to the Midwest tomorrow to my family’s summer house on Lake Michigan. Originally purchased by my Great Grandparents, the house has been passed down through the generations. The development is called ‘Castle Park’ and it consists of around 100 cottages owned by similar generational families which have created years of life-long friendships, traditions, and memories.

Three summers ago I shot some images with a Mamiya 7 II medium format film camera and I have posted the images below. This summer I have rented a Mamiya 7 II and am returning with hopes of creating a series on the park and on the traditions of this great summer community. I may not be too attentive to the blog for the next 10 days but I will try to post some work while I am there. Enjoy some of the images below :)

Talk with you soon!
