Last week I attended Art Basel in Miami and I cannot begin to describe the incredible over-the-top experience of the week long event.
For starters, Miami is one heck of a flashy town. Add thousands of art collectors who have flown in from around the world to splurge, and Miami takes on one entirely new ‘glamorama’ meaning.
I attended the opening night of Basel followed by Scope, Red Dot and Art Miami (all different venues made of galleries from around the world exhibiting artists’ work). Of them all my favorite was Art Miami. Below are some iphone snaps of some of my favorite work from the various shows.
I am going to do a post on my favorite artists from the entire show next week.
