This past weekend I headed to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park to begin a project I have been dreaming of for the past few months.
Mixing words made with letter-balloon and stunning natural landscapes, this project is meant to convey a sense of happiness, joy and ‘fun’. For example, we spelled ‘Dessert’ in a barren desert landscape.
To be honest, I had no idea how hard it was to photograph balloons in the natural environment! It’s like giving treats and candy to puppies and children and then trying to photograph them.
I would love to hear your opinion as this series is still being developed! Are these images you would want to hang on your walls?

Absolutely love this set of images. My favorite was the last one where the letters “X” and “O” were floating up into the sky. Great pics and great concept.
