If you’re still using the standard camera on your cell phone, you’re craaazy. With so many amazing apps out there, I wanted to spotlight 3 of my favorites that will take your pics to the next level.

Camera Awesome
My favorite thing about Camera Awesome is the “awesomize” button that boosts color, light, and saturation of your photos…it’s just too easy not to use.
Camera Awesome also has an intervalometer, which would allow you to shoot great timelapse footage (if you’re in to video).
Bottom Line: If you are in a rush and want to quickly and easily edit a photo before posting it to your social media, then this is the app for you. Also, Camera Awesome is FREE: no excuse not to download it and give it a try!

Pro Camera
Pro Camera offers many manual shooting options that allow for creativity. You can select shutter speed and ISO (lighting levels), as well as control focus and exposure. There are also many options to re-touch your photos.
For example, this menu allows for manual re-touching with “pro lab,” cropping with “pro cut,” and auto adjustments with “pro fx.”

Bottom Line: Camera Pro is great for those of you who want to feel like your camera, is a camera. At $2.99, it’s definitely worth the price tag.

Camera Plus Pro is also an excellent tool. For those of you who love to play around with filters and hues, this app has an amazing selection.. you’ll never get bored! The interface is easy to use and the editing is also user-friendly.
One thing I like is the “big button” tool which allows you to use your entire screen as a camera viewfinder with no other buttons or menus in the way:
Instead of applying filters after you shoot an image, you can shoot with live filters for both stills and video. Also, the editing software is really easy to use. Check out some of the photos from Camera Plus Pro.
Bottom line: If you are looking to have a bit more creative control and style when it comes to shooting and editing, then this is your app. Price tag is a bargain $1.99!
No matter which one you download, you will be taking photos like a pro in no time!
