I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot with Taylor Armstrong last week. She is heavily involved with the 1736 Family Crisis Center and needed a nice head shot for their new website. Working with women from Beverly Hills can be a wild ride but Taylor was quite the opposite: down-to-earth, charming and most of all, naturally beautiful.
The opening reception for 4×14: Uncommon Imagery from 14 Southern California Photographers couldn’t have been a bigger hit this past Saturday! For everyone who was not able to attend, I snapped a few pictures before the opening started. There were around 150 people which was a great turn out!
Two months ago I sat down with 14 tremendously talented fine art photographers and we planned a group show which is finally happening tomorrow night! Titled 4×14: Uncommon Imagery – the show ties together 4 pieces by each photographer. I am thrilled as I am debuting my new series NINE POLAROIDS. It’s been publicized all over Los Angeles and it’s looking to be a great time so if you are free tomorrow night the details are below. Hope to see you there
Saturday, March 20th, from 6-9pm at the Julia Dean Gallery located at 801 Ocean Front walk, Studio 8, Venice, CA 90291 (About 150 feet south of Brooks Ave). The show runs from March 20th-May 28th, 2010, tying in with Month of Photography LA.
